Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at St. John's Lutheran Church at 7pm. Guest soloist will be Paul Eaves. The community is invited to worship with us as we celebrate the birth of the Christ Child.

REPM to hold January meeting
The Winston County Retired Educational Personnel will hold their January meeting on Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. at Louisville City Hall with Mayor Will Hill as speaker,
Class of 1980 to meet

AARP will meet
Winston County Area AARP chapter No. 2859 will hold their January 13, 2010 meeting in The City Hall at 2:00 p.m. Members are asked to be present for officer's election for the next two years.
Welding class planned
Registration for welding classes will be January 4, 2010 at the Winston/Louisville Career & Technology. Cost is $100. Phone 773-6152.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration and Parade
Saturday, January 16, 2010
Parade entries will line up at 9:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah's site.
Parade will start promptly at 10:00 a.m.
All entries should be decorated. Entry fee is $5.00
A short program will follow shortly after the parade @ 200 Stockyard Road (building next to JR's Restaurant).

Pageant set
The Miss Dixie Diamond Pageant will be held January 30, 2010 at The Shrine Club in Louisville, MS. Registration begins at 2:30 with the pageant to follow at 4:00. The pageant is open to girls from all over the State ages 0 and up. Baby, Toddler, Teeny, Little Miss, Young Miss, Pre-Teen Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss and Miss divisions. Three Over-All Supreme winners as well as Queen winners in each age division and alternates. Everyone receives a crown. Awesome pageant for beginners. From Jimmie to Josh
Come and hear Rick McWilliams the great nephew of "The Father of Country Music" Jimmie Rodgers as he sings some of the "Blue Yodeler's" songs as well as others including a segment from Josh Groban. March 6, 2010 at the Strand Theater in Louisville, MS Matinee at 2pm and again at 6pm. All seats are reserved and are only $10 per person. Tickets will go on sale after January 16th, and will be available at the Louisville Chamber of Commerce. Joining Rick will be the "Hopkins" from Chattanooga, TN, as well as other artists and guests remember.
