B&G Club seeks donations with raffle

The Boys and Girls Club board of Directors and other club supporters will be selling chances to win a Big Boss 500 as part of the club's most recent fundraiser.

Tickets for the prize drawing are $25 with only 1,000 tickets to be sold. The drawing for the winner will be held December 15. All proceeds for the ticket sales will go to support the Boys and Girls Club.

Tickets will be available at the Chamber, Fair Propone, Cournoyer's Office Supply, The Winston County Journal, Winston County Chancery Clerk, The Citzens Bank, Regions Bank, BankcorpSouth, and Renasant Bank main offices or any Boys and Girls Club Board Member.

The Boys and Girls Club program is setup to help not only "at risk" students in the community but all children in the community according to its mission statement.

"Kids have a place they can go on a daily basis that they know is safe, and parents know where they are. At the same time, they're building skills that should help them be more successful in life," said Larry Dickens, Director of the Winston and Neshoba Counties Clubs.

The Winston County Boys and Girls Club is a partnership branch with the Neshoba County Boys and Girls Club and part of the 4.8 million-member national organization. For more information on the club or to enroll a child visit its facility at 203 Ivy Avenue.

The drawing is December 15 at 6 P.M. at the Winston County B&G Club.
