Soccer enthusiasts and novices invited to Soccer fun and family days

With Soccer growing in popularity across the country and youth soccer in the area kicking off this past month, soccer fun family days are planned for the Rec Plex area on the corner of Ivy and Ball on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 8.

The event will include free soccer demonstrations, competitions between several adult soccer leagues and activities for the children.

The event is an effort by the City of Louisville, Winston County Economic Development Partnership and Winston County Youth Association to promote the future site of the Louisville Rec Plex and the creation of tournament style soccer fields and other recreational outlets on the site.
