Winston Medical Center Hospital and Nursing Home is hosting its annual Health Fair on Tuesday, November 3 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
"We want to educate the citizens in Winston County of all the resources that are available in the healthcare industry," said Dale Saulters, Administrator. "We have an array of services that will be provided for free at the health fair as well as flu shots that will be $15 and we will file insurance for those who have Medicare," stated Saulters.
The public is invited to participate in the free Health Fair where there will be free health screenings, door prizes, and Renansant Bank will be providing hotdogs.
Flu shots, cholesterol, glucose checks and a wide array of screening options and exhibitors are available at the Winston Medical Center Hospital and Nursing Home Health Fair. The cholesterol and glucose screenings require a 12-hour fast for best results.
