Mr. Jack Clark

Funeral services for Mr. Jack Clark, 93, were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Flower Ridge United Methodist Church in Louisville. Rev. Larry Haggard and Rev. Edward Davis officiated. Burial followed in Flower Ridge Cemetery.
A resident of Louisville, Mr. Clark was a member of the Flower Ridge United Methodist Church, where at one time he had a perfect attendance of fifteen years. He remained a faithful member until his death. Over the years, he served in many capacities at Flower Ridge. Mr. Clark held many jobs in the course of his life including hauling lumber for the Fair Company, hauling gravel for the construction of many of our local roads, mechanic for the Clark Brothers in Noxapater. Mr. Clark retired as a TV Repairman at the age of 82. He enjoyed many leisure activities such as camping, fishing, and gardening; and in his fifties, he learned to water ski. In his early years, he loved riding his motorcycle and later his four-wheeler took its place.
Mr. Clark died Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at his residence.
Survivors include one daughter, Lois Jean Davis and husband Mitchell of Pensacola, FL; two sons, Charles M. Clark and wife Mary Jane of Louisville and Tom Clark and wife Dianne of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren, Rev. Edward (Kim) Davis, Scarlet (Tim) Sheppard, and Beth (Jason) Woodcock; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tim Clark, Thomas Clark, Jonathan Crocker, Wallace Gene Humphries, Bobby Ray Smith, Scott Smith, Tim Shepperd, Jason Woodcock, and Ernie Mills.
Nowell Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of the arrangements.
