Funeral services for Mrs. Eberlena Burrage, 99, were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Flonzell Wilson officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

A native of Noxubee County, Mrs. Burrage was a member of Center Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Burrage died Thursday, June 23, 2005, at the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home.

Survivors include her son, Learthia Burrage of Saginaw, MI; two sisters, Willie Hayne of California and Mable Miller of Louisville; brother, Bennie Brook Sanders of Louisville; six grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Williams and Herring Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bobby Sherrod Goss

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Sherrod Goss, 70, were held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Louisville. Rev. Robert Jamison officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Mr. Goss was a retired coach and teacher at Noxapater High School. He was also a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church of Louisville. Mr. Goss died Saturday, June 25, 2005.

Survivors include his wife, Victoria V. Goss; two daughters, Sonja Fair of Starkville and Ravetta Goss of Jackson; six sisters, Sara Murphy of Greenville, AL, Barabra Miller of Seattle, WA, Lillian Miller Miles of Cleveland, OH, Lucendia Pugh of Huntsville, AL, Pauline Randolph of Huntsville, AL, and Mary Underwood of Memphis, TN; seven brothers, W.L. Hickman of Greenville, AL, Tommie Hickman of Greenville, AL, Carrie Lee Miller of Cleveland, OH, Leroy Miller of Cleveland Hights, OH, Lee Jr. Miller of Clarksville, TN, Archie Kirk of Chicago, IL, and Joe Nathan Kirk of Gary, IN; and two grandchildren.

Beck Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. James Ervin McAdory

Funeral services for Mr. James Ervin McAdory, 50, were held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Porter Funeral Home of Louisville. Rev. Wayne Sanders officiated. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Mr. McAdory was self-employed in the construction business. He was also a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mr. McAdory died Monday, June 27, 2005.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Bain McAdory of Union, MS; mother, Billie Hicks McAdory of Noxapater; two step-sons, Keith Crenshaw of Neshoba County and Tim Crenshaw of Neshoba County; one half-brother, Mike Flournoy of Moore, Oklahoma; and two step-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Building Fund.

Mrs. Margaret Louise Guess

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Louise Guess, 88, were held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, July 2, 2005, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman. Rev. Randle Poss officiated. Burial followed in Providence Baptist Cemetery in Choctaw County.

A resident of Ackerman, Mrs. Guess was a homemaker and a member of Fentress Baptist Church. Mrs. Guess died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

Survivors include her four sons, Williams L. Guess of Magee, MS, Curtis Guess of Ackerman, MS, Jerry Guess of Caledonia, MS, and Davie Guess of Union, MS; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jeremy Guess, Charles Martin, Milton Lester, Albert Mason, Daryl Guess, and Roger Kelley.

Mrs. Ruthie Lee Norton

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruthie Lee Norton, 92, were held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, Jule 3, 2005, at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville. Rev. W. L. Hightower officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

A native of Winston County, Mrs. Norton was a retired school teacher and a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Norton died Thursday, June 30, 2005, at JRS and J Adult Care Center in Louisville.

Survivors include her brother, Cleavis Gladney of Chicago, IL.
