As an extension of the BATTLE luncheon and the fight against breast cancer, the Winston County Extension Service provide 400 breast cancer awareness packages to the Louisville Municipal School District for its teachers and staff.

Donna Robertson, tobacco nurse at Fair Elementary, had planned an education day on breast cancer for the staff. She had planned the day at Fair Elementary to kickoff National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

With the Winston County Extension Office's donation, Robertson's planned breast cancer awareness display went even better then planned as she handed out the informative packets and also delicious snacks. She had provided information to over 43 members of the Fair Elementary staff by 11 a.m.

Robertson position as school tobacco nurse is partially funded by the Partnership for a Healthier Mississippi.
