With unemployment rates up and concerns of layoffs, the Winston Economic Development Partnership has joined with other counties in the area to host a East Central Mississippi Job Fair on Thursday, February 12.
The workforce development winter job fair will be held at the Neshoba County Coliseum from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Winston Economic Development Partnership will be providing a van to help take job seekers to the event. To reserve a seat on the van please call 662-773-3921.
The free job fair is open to anyone and will have about 10 to 15 employers on hand offering opportunities in accounting, administration, computer operations, corrections, law enforcement, diesel mechanics, education, electronics, engineering, food service, truck driving and many more.
Gerald Mills, Winston County Economic Development Director, noted WCDEP had joined with the other counties in order to help draw a strong pool of employers.
Mills advised job seekers would need to register when they arrive at the coliseum. Job seekers will be able to discover job opportunities available.
